Our Generation has documented more and achieved less.
People these days often lack in spiritually being content. They are always looking for something, that would grant them their picture perfect life,in other words they expect life to happen by itself or some kind of a miracle to occur.
They dont realise the million other things that they already have now where once a dream.
It has become very difficult for people to understand the difference between a life online and off.
It saddens to realise that, everything has turned digital these days.
Emojis has replaced real emotions, nobody calls you for a birthday, everywish is a long paragraph probably written by malgamizing different quotes found in pinterest to make that very awsome instagram post that could win a 100 likes, and in every hangout that you have with your best friends, all you end up doing is taking pictures of yourself trying to look like you did nothing but have fun. In other words our generation has documented more but achieved very less.
Everyone is racing these days and always trying to keep others updated about what they are doing in their daily life, like the end is tommorow.
There is a difference between keeping yourself updated about what is happening around the world and updating others about what you are doing in your daily life.
Makes sence right?
There is nothing wrong in balancing your days doing atleast some of the real activities.
For instance,Why do you have to update everyone with what you have cooked in your kitchen in your instagram stories, instead ask your mom sitting right next to you to taste and give her feedback.
Life changes and feels much more meaningfull when you cut down using those many hours of social media in a day.
You will realise that you would start achieving much more things in life, rather than sitting all day comfortably stalking million every other people like you, trying to prove to live their picture perfect life.
When you disconnent yourself from the online world, you will then understand the very first step to feel spiritually content with yourself where everything is real and not just picture perfect.
